About

Auberon Hugo Stevens was not born in Camelot and makes up for this misfortune by writing about knights and dragons. After studying English at Northern State University (South Dakota), Auberon was whisked away by a handsome prince to the faraway kingdom of South Carolina, where she now resides with her family. When she is not writing, she is learning about historical arts and crafts and trying to convince her husband that there is room in their home for a spinning wheel.

Auberon holds a Bachelor of Arts in English. Her poetry and short stories have been published in her alma mater’s literary magazine, Northern Lights. She has also worked as a writing tutor and freelance beta reader.

Authors who have influenced and inspired Auberon’s work include J. R. R. Tolkien, Madeleine L’Engle, and Gail Carson Levine. To see more of her favorite authors, follow her on Storygraph.
